Stress doesnt mean aggression in saltwater. That tang was in way too small of a tank even if the plan was just for a week. Tangs need room to swim, they dont they stress out and get ich or velvet and die from it and pass it to all other fish. You have to remember your freshwater tank with your fish is very different than salt, and especially when it comes to tangs
Im honestly thinking the tang stressed out, got velvet and thats gotten your other fish. I would expect the rest of the fish to pass in the next few days of thats the case

Even if the fish was a baby ? i guess the lfs should have told me that then. Any suggestions to what breed to look for in the future when the 90 is setup ?

Fish in general or tangs? And yes even a baby tang needs a huge tank.

And did you tell the LFS you were putting it in a 13? Cause if so yes they should have. But if you said its a 90 they would assume its going straight into the 90 and wouldnt say anything

the tang was a Tomini and it was about an inch long, it was smaller than the clowns and it just minded his business all the fish got along perfect with zero aggression. I have a 125 with africian cichlids so i very aware of seeing how aggression works among them and they were all fine. Even the clowns were too young to even go at each other The plan was never for all of them to live their whole life in a nano tank it was a small tank i setup with my kid while i built the 4 foot 90g
Did they not swim around ?

It’s not entirely about aggression ..
believe me .. in my 230 I have 16 fish and I can’t add anymore ….

If they are going in the 90 you can add anything within reason .
But if they are going in a 13 gal for holding for a few months . I would personally hold off until the 90 is setup , cycled and ready

Do you have pictures of the tank setup and running with all corals and fish ?
i dont, i have just been a lurker on this sub but i can take some this week. This fish isnt mine but both the clowns def had this looking of a gross slime coat on them for like a week. I asked my LFS and they were like you can try dosing some natural ich attack because it wont effect the corals but pmuch like if the fish are gonna die they are gonna die.
