Hey, Palytoxin here! This is the three month old setup I have, I love it so far aside from the fact I tried introducing live coralline algae and it bleached off. But let me know what everyone thinks! Also I know the rockscape is a bit iffy, but I intend on adding more cured and cultured live rock in the near future. I'd love to hear the positive and negative criticisms!

I would raise that light for sure. Not sure what it is, but you're not getting full spread having it that close to the surface.
Gotcha, that was a concern of mine. but I'm just not sure of the PAR ratings and all which is why I kind of left it there and most of my zoanthids at the bottom. But most of my corals are in the section right below it. I'm gonna end up getting either an AI prime or a Hipergaro, depends on what my budget allows. but that light will DEFINITELY be up maybe another 8-12 inches more than the current one.

Edit: The light is also some sort of secondhand chinese box light

The Zoas and softies won't need that much light. Can't tell from your pic, what other corals do you have in there?

Well, I have mostly Zoas, I have a paly, A small 2 polyp Duncan frag, a basic clove frag, A walking dendra, and a small hollywood stunner chalice frag that is about an inch and a half.
