the tank is a little over three months since we put water in the tank. Added a few members so far and have a temporary lighting of 15w led flood light bulb until after Christmas when we can spend money on ourselves lol. Will be getting two ai sol blue units for the tank. The tank also has a 30 gallon sump refugium w/ a air-stone protein skimmer. Have had the flaming dendro for about 10 days now seems to be doing good so far.

Update on the tank added a new piece of live rock to the tank and a new resident a juvenile green mandarin. The dendrophyllia looks like its growing new heads I have a close up pic of the new head growing.

There was already tons of pods plus we added a bunch to the tank when we added the mandarin. I am always watching my tank sometimes with a magnifying glass and always see plenty around. I also keep an eye on about how many hits he does a minute to get an idea of how well he is eating.

Well decided to go with beamswork quad with 52 10000k 3w bulbs white-75% blue-25% and for the money this thing is affordable and looks great plus it came with two cooling fans and the "optional" timer. The shipping was faster than the quoted time and the assembly was some had it up and running in 5 minutes. We picked up a few corals today as well a nice looking bubble tip, candy cane, eagle eye zoanthids, and a frowgspawn. Will post pic of eagle eyes when they open up tomorrow.

Thanks yea I cant wait to upgrade that guy lol. We already had a mishap with it earlier into the tank luckily, so now I have to keep an eye on it and push it back tight a couple days a week.
