3 Months and Full Reef. Now what?

3 months of panic posts about Dino’s and now a hugely self assured post about what you don’t “subscribe” to for theories. What next? Try proving you can keep any of it alive long term.

The colors are what they are. You’ll need to add colors to get contrast. Much of those are pretty similar color palates.

Excuse me. What’s wrong with relying on content created by a known and respected brand in the hobby, such as Red Sea? Name one other Reef Spec brand, please (you can’t ).

Exactly. This currently is nothing more than a temporary show tank. Zero proof of any actual success, outside of making for a good picture someone can brag about.

By the way, in return for the amusement, I'll point out a rookie mistake that might save you some serious grief down the road. You have your ATO outlet in your sump below the fill level of your ATO tank. That means that when you fill the ATO tank, and the pump turns on for the first time afterwards, it will siphon the water in the ATO reservoir down to the level of the outlet tube. So your specific gravity in the tank will go way down until that excess water evaporates off, and large specific gravity swings are generally not helpful to your corals.

Aha sir, not true. My return for my ATO is zip tied onto my hard plumbing on the return pump. It is approximately 3 inches from top of ATO container, preventing a siphon.

You mistake me, my lord.
