Anyone have 3 MP10s on their cube. I am wondering what you have found best for placement?

2 of my pumps are wireless and I run them opposite eachother in anti-sync currently on full power tidal swell mode. The third pump is on its way and is just an ES. Is it worth upgrading to wireless so I can run it on the back wall in one of the ecosmart modes?

I have a 60 gallon cube with an island in the middle 2/3 of the way up. With the 2 pumps i get great flow in the front but somewhat lacking in the back. Its an SPS reef.

I'm going with three on my 60g cube. All on the back.

I currently have two, one on each side going back and forth.

The tank will be viewable from three sides when I move it to the living room, so I'm gonna put one in the middle lower and then two on the sides up higher.

I have a 135 cube (36x36x24) and had 2 MP40's on the back wall for two years. Three months ago I added MP10's on the two sides and started running ecosmart mode, what a difference! My SPS in the front look better than they ever have, just be careful of SPS directly in front of the pumps, they need to be at least 6 inches away. IMO, its well worth the extra money for the upgrade to the ES.

I'm in the same situation as well. I was thinking maybe an mp40 on the right side and an mp10 on the back. Cubes are tricky with flow

I have a 30 x 30 90g cube. I have two mp10 one on right side (shorter of the two sides because of the overflow) and one on the back. I also have a wp25 on the corner overflow shooting straight across toward the front. I am considering adding another wp25 on the other side of the overflow in the future.

Yeah, I think I will do the upgrade. Its tough I currently have the 2 mp10s on Tidal Swell 100% and there are some spots not getting enough flow and some to be getting to much. Hopefully, with the third pump I can turn down the intensity and get a more rhythmic even flow pattern.

Do the wp25s have magnets or suction cups? Do you have the magnets submerged under the water?

Update: I have the third mp10 on the back wall synced with the other 2 in tidal swell mode. Still not crazy about flow. I moved the 2 opposing pumps on the sides so they are not directly facing each other because sps at the top front of the rock structure were getting blasted where the flow from the 2 opposing pumps clashed together. Now I seem to have to much flow in some spots and not enough in others. May try moving the pump on the back wall to the side of the master, synced with the master to see if that changes anything.

Any other ideas out there?

I have a 60 gal cube I a have wp40 on wave level 3 and 1jbj 1600 with a duo running on and off every 10 sec
