on so I'm not sure if I should worry or do anything about it. I'm in late week three almost week 4.

My 75 gallon tank has very small amounts of diatom growth. On glass and on rocks.

pH 8.2 ammonia 0. Has come down from major Spike and has been down for 4 days now. Nitrite 2. Nitrate 80. Plenty of water agitation.

My 24 nano has the same exact levels but massive diatom growth. See picture.

Anything I should be worried about? Or is this normal? Both nitrite and Nitrate been the same for 4 days.

All normal, there’s a few ugly stages your tank will go through after cycling. Don’t worry about it.

Yep normal, stuff is gonna grow in a healthy tank

Thanks for posting! You're almost there with ammonia being zero...just ride the nitrite out our friend.

Great job and yeah just a bit of the 'ugly' right now...soon to turn into beauty. :)

All normal/typical, however, I would recommend doing a water change to get your nitrates lower prior to adding livestock. Unless you have some other type of Nitrate reduction going on in your tank, Nitrate only moves in one direction and unfortunately that's up.
