Recently my 300XL seams came apart, Red Sea replaced it with an entire G2 system, ended up swapping it with my LFS who had a customer looking for a 3' tank and ended up paying the difference for a 525XL G2+ which will be here on Wed.

I was running 3 XR15 Pro's over my 300XL, and that grew anything I wanted at the time. I'm looking at adding more light to the 5' tank, Consdiering using 3 XR15's and supplementing with 2 Kessil X360's between the XR15's. Perhaps going with an XR30 G6 with 2 of my XR15's. I would like this to be SPS dominant as my last was a mixed reef and did well.

What do you think?

Adding an XR30 G6 with 2 of my current XR15's be enough you think?
With the right aquascape and coral planning it will be fine till stuff grows out then you’ll want to switch them out for something with more coverage.

Three XR15s should be enough for top half SPS growing for frags to start with. Then 3 XR30s (front to back length wise placement) should be enough to grow SPS to 18" down. Once shading starts, you'll need to use supplemental blades or blanket with more XR30s
