30-45 gallon aquarium + sump [seeking recommendations]

Hi all—

I currently have a 6g nano but I’m looking to upgrade to a 30-45 gallon reef with a sump and any size within that range will do *as long as the display holds that many gallons*

Recently I was looking at the waterbox marine series, but I’ve learned that they have a back chamber and a sump but I only want the sump to make the display cleaner and simpler.

Can y’all please recommend tanks within that gallon size with included sumps and plumbing? Don’t worry about price right now I just need a place to begin researching

red sea reefer 200xl or a reefer 170. I have a reefer 170, but if I had to do it over again, I would have gotten a waterbox 70.2, but it cost more so that was that. If this is going to be your end all be all tank and plan to make it really nice, I would get the water box 70.2 because its larger and you'll be able to keep a tang or two in it if you wanted to. The sump that it comes with is easier to work with than the one on the smaller red sea tanks. Both of these manufacturers produce very nice tanks and you will like them a lot if you end up going that route. All the tanks I mentioned are between 43-60 gallons, including the sump. it’s not the end all tank because I’m just renting a place with my gf and I don’t start planning a dream tank until I buy a house. This is just to help me explore the hobby for a couple more years.

The reefer 170 looks great!
