30 g trigger ruby sump filters and socks

Just got a used Trigger 30g ruby sump. It didnt come with the foam, egg crate, or socks. Where do I find these? I looked on Bulk and Marine depot. I dont know if there is a specific place. I cant find it. Lol.

I would suggest checking to see if your local fish store may specialize in reef aquariums. If not, I would do the online option; bulk reef supply or marine depot

u can get egg crate at Home Depot, rest online from BRS or Marine Depot... even Amazon

The socks are just 4” x 14” felt. So that and the egg crate, I got from BRS. BRS does not have the foam for the triggger sumps. I asked them and I tried what they have but I don’t like it.

I found this on amazon and have been using it for about 1 year now. Feels just like the foam that came with the sump. I use a large ruler and sharp knife to cut it to size.

What size are the PVC fittings that go into the return holes?

The return holes are for a 1" fitting.

Do they attach some how or just go straight through?

On the outside it's just a slip to male thread adapter and it threads into a fitting on the inside which is a female thread to slip adapter. It may have an o ring as well but I forgot. I actually carefully drilled mine out for a 1 1/2" fitting.
