30 Gallon Ghetto Frag Tank

Starting a new build this weekend. Today I'm picking up a 24x24x12 tank which I will convert to a frag tank for the garage.

I'm balling on a budget with this one.

Picking up at 2 today stay tuned.

Even cheaper, Fujimoto. It's a small store here in so cal that also makes cheap tanks. The tank drilled with two holes cost me $70.

Haven't picked up the tank yet but got my light and wave maker. I got my Jebao WP 10 and DM-155e both from reef radiance. Rick provided awesome customer service during the transaction.

I'm really impressed with the light so far. Good build quality, feels solid, diodes look great. Can't wait to get this over some corals.

Wow..good job staying on budget... I was planning to do one on a budget like that and couldn't even stay close… I just ordered my tank and it ended up costing me 750 by itself lol

What size is your tank?

I did a lot of shopping around and prep. work. It all paid off in the end. Its not pretty but it will get the job done. Now let just hope I don't need a chiller. :scared:
