30 Gallon Not So Deep Blue

Thanks. I got the meat coral from rare reef when they were having a sale a while ago. If I remember correctly I paid like $85 for it. I have to say it is one of my favorite LPS. I just could never bring myself to pay $250+ for one.
Dang that's a killer deal for that meat. Awesome grab.
How's the BM curve 5 on your tank? I can't decide on a skimmer for my build.

Works great especially for the price. I've never had the cash to buy super expensive equipment. There are a few really good companies that don't charge an arm and a leg. I ended up choosing the Curve 5 because of the reviews and price. I've owned 2 of their skimmers now and both work. I don't know what size tank you are working with just remember an oversized skimmer for a nano can be just as bad as an undersized one. If it's to much for your system it won't be able to skim properly. Just not enough waste to get it going.

Very nice!

Thanks man. I had a friend sell his curve 5 for $140. I thought it was going to be to big but my tank is the same as yours DB 30g rimless with a roughly custom 22g sump. Oh well.

So no new pictures I'll get some soon but since starting the acropower I have to say I've seen more growth than I ever have. I had 2 sps that weren't growing at all. And now one more than the other has exploded with new growth.

I really don't know I actually found that at Petco a few days after it came in. It looked like it had potential and I didn't want it to just sit in their tank and waste away. Anyways here's some growth I've gotten since I have been dosing the acro power. It's a green milli that hadn't been really growing at all since the it covered some of the rock it is on.

For some reason I can't find the old pick but it's on the first page. For 2 1-2 months it's the best growth I've gotten from this coral.

Can I see some pics of your sump. I can only fit a 10gal inside my stand don't leave alot of room for a fug and skimmer trying to figure out what skim to get have a 38gal tank

You are successfully keeping a set of mixed corals which is much harder than keeping softies, LPS, or SPS in dedicated-only tanks. Your parameters must be spot on. Can you give us some pointers that are unique to your husbandry?
