ok here we go. i started on this a while back and am no where near done.

i removed the frame added a back and overflow from ABS plastic. bent and cut by me of course :)

Nice job! A while back, I made my 30gal frag tank (24"x24"x10") and made it rimless too, but I thought with it being rimless, a canopy would hide my "hard" work lol, wanted to show off the nice look so hung the light above (soon will have a "floating" canopy):

Made my overflow box out of some spare black arcylic, how'd the ABS plastic work?
Here's mine (like i said it was scrap acrylic, that's why one side of the overflow is 3/8" and the other is 1/2" still looks fine. lol):

i was going to go with a hanging fixture. but i am on a budget . i allready had the t5 lighting so that's what i am using. :)

the ABS works great! imo i use it for loads of stuff. it is easier to bend then acrylic and cheaper!
