Getting back in the hobby after tearing down my 125 gallon tank a year ago.
Going small this time with a JBJ 30 gallon rimless nano

Got the tank with 2 led light strips off craigslist

Ive never used leds and couldnt find much info about these strips online but im guessing i couldnt keep much under just these? Im gonna have to use them for awhile tho until i can afford to upgrade. Im thinking they may be ok for zoos and mushrooms and the like but i dunno about anything else.

Me and the hubby built a stand for the tank.. was our first time building anything so im pretty happy with how it turned out

Been thinking alot about what fish i wanna put in this tank and im struggling with the fact that i only have 30 gallons of tank to put fish in lol

Here is the list so far, need some help narrowing it down
goby/pistol pair
midas blenny

sixline wrasse
royal gramma
dwarf angel (either pygmy cherub, flameback, rusty or flame)
clownfish (1 or 2 not decided)

the angel is a must for me i know there are mixed reviews with them in nano tanks but i want a nice looking centerpiece fish for the tank and i think an angel is it. i just dont know which one would be better

Great tank so far!

Great job on building the stand! The jbj 30 RL has to be one of my favorite rimless nano tanks. Really nice dimensions, really sad I had to let mine go.

So its been awhile..
Finally got the tank cycling a couple days ago :D
