It's good to wait at least 6 months before adding any anemone. This is to help make sure your tank is fully cycled and stable. They like good water quality too. Also I would say you can add about as many anemones as you want until it's like too much. There's a YouTuber called melevsreef, he has a tank just for anemones and clowns. It's a great tank and I'm not too sure on the size but he has a ton of anemones in it. So that's a great video to look at for any info on a clown and anemone only tank. Not sure. My big tank everything was already in it. How long should I wait?

Very true. I guess I should have worded my response better. Because many people have been able to add them after two months of setting their tank up and some have had to wait way longer than a year, it just depends on if your tank is cycled and if your parameters are good like cromag said. I by no means know more than he does about anemones. I'm basing my info off of reading and looking up questions on them. Because I was looking into getting a rock anenome or two and because I just want to be on the safe side I wasn't going to add it till I know for sure it'll be ok. But of course my tank is fully cycled with corals in it and parameters are good, I'm just one of those types of people who like to wait till I'm totally comfortable and feel safe about adding one. I hope everything goes good with your tank! I would so love a clown and anemone only tank...Make sure your tank is cycled and your parameters are at reef levels. then make sure you can maintain those levels. this timeframe can be different for different reefers, that's why it's misleading to say wait 6 months.'. nothing magical happens at 6 months.
