300 baby seahorse

Hi everyone the place I work at on the weekends just got in 300 baby seahorses ..they are amazingly small maybe 3/8 of a inch I was just wondering if anyone has any tips ..its a non prophet organization none of these will be offered for sale ..

Live copepods...low flow...and seagrasses and such to hitch their little tails to. Maybe train them to frozen food, but I'm not sure how one does that with seahorses...

Awsome ...we got live food for them ..we made hitch stations out of fishing line and clay cuz there so small ...I hope to get decent success with them

Look into tiger pics they are really small. I put a ton into my reef and let them take off in the tank and then I added my seahorses and boom! Now I don't even have to feed my tank daily bc they find food on there own

Good idea about the frozen food ..I will try to get them on that soon....they seem to love the live copepods and live baby brine right now ..

What type of seahorses are they? Do you know how old they are? I would recommend offering a variety of foods from live amphipods and copepods to frozen. The type of food I would recommend would be dependent on the type seahorses. Also, keep the water quality pristine. I would do daily water changes. Good luck!! Would love to see some pics.

iam not sure what kind they are iam a coral guy but they where sooo cute so had to show some interest ..iam gonna find out what kind they are ..the place I work is the ocean explorium so they have 4-5 different kinds of live food on hand ..we been doing daily water changes because of the amount of food we pump in the system ...
