Hey I'm setting up a 300 gallon tank for sharks and rays. Not doing anytthing to big for the aquarium so that's not the worry. My question is to those who have owned the tasks, what kind of sand have/had you used? At the moment idk whether to do caribsea Fiji pink or Bahama oolite ? Suggests would be greatly appreciated!

you want a fine sand sharks have very soft bellys that can get scrathced by larger pieces of substrate that could lead to infection also minimal rock work. as once they get bigger they will easily be able to movelive rock in your tank. what type of shark do you plan on getting? my suggestion would be a cat shark or png epaulette

Most likely I will be using Fiji pink with bahama oolite I think the rays will destroy the tank. But as far a sharks were doing a smooth hound shark and a Japanese leopard shark. As well as two blue spotted stingrays. Then for movement very large triggers including a south African black trigger, gold heart trigger, queen trigger, and a clown trigger. Then angels a large nlueface and a large personifier angel. A Australian harelquin tusk and a large stars and stripe puffer.

Thats the predator tank.
Was going to do a Japanese moral eel but I like my hands to much ha

careful with the triggers they will harass your sharks. your gonna need a minimum of 1000gallon tank to house both those sharks and chances are they will still outgrow them. is it a japanese dochi leopard shark or regular leopard shark
