doors should be on this week. then paint. If any one can give my any advise on paint. I was going to Kilz everything (latex or oil?) then on inside of stand and canopy. use epoxy apliance paint. then paint the outside some shade of white. I purposly turned the pic upside down because it was upside down on saw horses.

thats a mini mock tank seperating stand and canopy

Great looking stand and canopy! Looking forward to following your progress...

Anybody got opinion on uv. Considering one or is it money better spent else where? 5-700 dollars for appropriate size. Mine would be gear more towards diesase control

got stand in house and painting tomorrow. wife decided a new location for it. so Before Im move it in there I have to paint entire room. 20X30x12h. but it buts up to my fishroom so I will be able to expand my filtration a bit more. Im now adding a 25 gallon crytic refugium and a few more things. I picked up a 2nd hand santa monica filtration to test if it goes well will add another.

My main reason for post is can someone help me with my coral acclimation. Im going from t5 to MH/LED. with t5 i just put the coral where i wanted it and it did great with mh i think ill have to be alittle more cautious.

Hamilton cozmel reflectors, 400 w ushio 10k bulbs, lumentek ballast. Then one reefbrite actinic and 2 bml actinic strips

Awesome job on the stand and canopy. Definitely want to follow the progress of this one!

Okay my sump will be her next week the frag section in my sump is. 17"W x 26.5"L x 12"D.

Does anyone have a light recomendation.

Im on the fence with 4 bulb t5 vs a reefbreeder value series led. please give me some input

well not much progress. the sump is kind of holding everything up. because i have to put it in the stand from the top. But i did get the stand painted. also the room. you cant tell from the pic but the wall is more gray than it appears.

instead of using 2 pumps just use the one dc12000 with a manifold to supply the reactors. I have a dc12000 with a 4 port manifold feeding 1 gfo reactor,1 carbon reactor and a UV. and its a basement sump... I dont even keep the dc1200 on the highest setting, still plenty of flow

wow that is good to know. the dc12000 was fairly new when I bought it so i wasn't sure about its reliability so I ordered the 6000 to supplemtent it. since i already got it ill prob just run it on low. maybe it will increase the life of each pump as well. but I'm glad to know its got that much power if i need it.
