I dont trust fish from LA without a proper QT period.
You will be unable to treat the fish with copper once they go into the DT.

The QT is a couple 40 breeders in the basement but honestly I wonder if it’s better or worse. I’ve read a lot of stuff in support of QT and a lot in opposition.

I still do it, but prob not long enough and more so for observation then prophylactic treatment. Everything is doing great so far though.

Haven’t posted in while, been reading lots of other threads and taking my time getting things stocked.

Got the first batch out of Quarantine and everyone is doing well. Still looking pretty empty though.

And since I had a few empty QTs I added this guy last week when LA had him on sale... sorry, I’m terrible at taking pictures and this guy is moving non-stop.

Been reading a lot of build threads and figured I would submit an update.

Been having problems with the sump I tried to retrofit, microbubbles and keeping the water level around the skinner consistent.

Solution... new sump. Thanks premium aquatics Presidents’ Day sale.

Also decided I’m gonna move the sump to the basement fish room and plumb in a frag tank... eventually.
