Hey all! I hope everyone is doing well!

I wanted to check in with the community and gather some thoughts on a manufacturer for around a 300g tank. I really like the Innovative Marine tanks I have, but, they don't make a 300g (200g is the max, sans custom build). My Waterbox tank is not my favorite, mostly due to the crumby stand and overall sub-par seeming construction. However, that tank is 3+ years old, maybe Waterbox has stepped their game up?

Not looking to break the bank here, as that will come with lighting and livestock, haha. Please let me know your thoughts as a lot of vendors are running nice deals currently!

Cade and Red Sea would be at the top of my list, in that order. Obviously you're paying a bit of a premium for both - but the quality of Cade is beyond reproach and Red Sea has excellent customer service. No, Waterbox has not stepped their game up. If anything QA has slipped even further. I wouldn't touch a Waterbox tank/stand with a 10-foot pole (YMMV).

Thanks for your input! I am unfamiliar with Cade, I will look into them!

I just order the IM 200g peninsula a few weeks ago I also wanted a large tank. but my budget and timing the 200 was the right fit for me. but I look at going custom alot.

for glass I would got with @joeglass cages him and his team make amazing tanks. made right here in the US too. and the prices are fair feels like you get what you pay for. I hear there CS is top notch. sadly i did not go with them. as I felt like a PNP system was right for me. having a nice stand was part of the deal with the other half. ( then do have metal and wood stands BTW.)
they have a nice tank calculator. I may or may not have spent many hours there playing around with different configs.

@Tenecor Aquariums and framing tech have some nice Tslot alum. stands. if you go custom that is an option. tenecor also makes acrylic tanks too if your in to that. there are pros and cons to everything is life.

the red sea S100 is the biggest tank they make comes with a metal stand worth looking into. but for the price at least look into custom and get the size you want.

I was gonna go with the GC 300 myself and the T slot stand but would need to add more support to the floor and where I live its very hard to find help. so that's another reason why I went with the IM 200. it was the path of least resistances for me.

We are putting the finishing touches on our new CorBond™ stand skins. The skins are completely wood free and waterproof. The skins are panels made with a composite resin core to which we bond an inner and outer skin of aluminum. We are offering them in white and black for now, with other colors coming soon. All of the panels are removable for unhindered access from all sides.
