Hello I was just recently given a 30g breeder made by deep blue. I don't really like the trim that it has on it so I thought about de-rimming it and making it a rimless but after some research that doesn't seem like it would be safe. So I was looking into euro bracing it instead and had a couple of questions. First does anyone have any tips on how to remove the plastic brace I have never done it before, for the euro brace would 2in wide with 1/4in thick glass be ok? Also can I get the glass cut in one piece or does it have to be separate strips for each side? might be a dumb questions but I want to make sure I do it right lol. Any tips would be very much appreciated thank you.

Yea, the glass sizes your looking at will work. You need individual pieces cut for the tank.
You can remove the rim using a razor knife to cut the silicone under it.

I used a dremel and cut the trim into 1" sections and peeled them off with a pair of pliers.
