30g Hawaiian Reef Stocking

Hey guys,
I recently rearranged my 30 cube and am building an all Hawaiian tank. I need help deciding what to put in it however. My first fish for the tank (one I wanted most) was put in today and is settling in. While I don't plan on adding the next fish for a month or so I am going to begin adding some info pacific LPS and softies next week.

Current stock:
1 golden dwarf moray eel
3 sand sifting stars
8 turbo snails

Fish I am considering:
Hawaiian flame angel
Helfrichi firefish
Four line/twelve line wrasse
Fisher's angel
Hawaiian flame wrasse
Wart skin anglerfish
Chromis (if I can find ones caught in Hawaii)

Of those options what would you stock the tank with? If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

I don't know that I would put anything more than a firefish in something that small

I think just your eel is going to fill up the tank. Also I'd get rid of the sifting stars. They'll deplete your sand bed and starve.

Ok, I'll get rid of em. The eel is 8 inches right now and will top out between 10-12 inches

I don't know of any Angel fish that can be in tanks smaller than 55G.. I think clowns or firefish are the only thing I would put in a tank that small

I know the fisher's is usually about the same size as the cherub but don't know much about the species. Concerned over firefish since I've been told that the eels can eat firefish.

Would a chocolate dip damsel, fourline wrasse, and a flame wrasse female work in that size? Would rather under-stock than overstock

Especially with the eel having a large bio load in a small system

Don't know about the damsel but neither of the wrasse are appropriate for a tank that size. The only wrasse I would possibly put in a tank that size would be a Wetmorella .

I'd go with the angler if you don't plan on adding other small fish. That would be a really cool combo!

The fourline wrasses are beautiful, smart, hardy, and stay small. They can be obnoxious, though, but if your other fish are semi-aggressive, it should be ok. I loved mine; however, he (Dennis the Menace) now resides at my local LFS. He still recognizes me, and I give him a pellet snack whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

I feed mine. I've had 2 of them for for over 5 years. sometimes I don't see them for awhile but when I do i will give it some table shrimp soaked in selcon. I do the same with my large brittle star.
