Here is my new 30t seahorse tank.

Here are some pics of the new little guy and his new home...researching to see what other peaceful fish I can add that won't bully him/her for food...also looking to get this one a mate.

sorry everything looks mad...A buddy just left from bring me the coral that he was holding for me till I got back up and running....been awhile.

I like. What is the coral in the bottom right of the tank? Looks like some palys that aren't open for the pic?
 
Very nice! What kind of seahorse is that? What temperature do you keep the water at? I always wanted a seahorse tank but don't have a chiller for the summertime.

Paul...The pony is a Yellow H. redi...tank is around 70 degrees with the halide gets to about 73 degrees...the wife keeps it cool in the house year round.

yep paly's...they were mad..I had just put them in the tank..A buddy was holding them for till till I got the tank set back up.

I will post a pic when they open..they are a very weird color.
 
Have you checked out seahorse.org? Tons of info on keeping seahorses. Your tank looks very nice.

Yeah...I have been browsing around....I am looking for a mate for this one..just have to take the time to figure out if it is male or female.

Also looking for a couple other tank mates that won't bully it for food.

It looks young right now, but if it starts developing a pouch then it's male.

We have had success with clown gobies (green and yellow), blue neon gobies, catalina gobies, hectors goby, tailspot blenny, target mandarins (which it looks like you already have) and banggais with our H Erectus.

good looking tank and my favorite seahorse in the tank, keep up the good work. is that a spotted mandarin in the tank too?
