So I ordered my 310 gallon planet aquarium last week.
Built my rough structure today and got my sump in.

I sealed the top and bottom and it’s going to have a stained oak 1/2” covering the exterior.
Still haven’t made up my mind what I want to put on it though. It’s going to be a freshwater predator lager fish or saltwater fish only. I have a 180 gallon reef already so my try out a big cichlid tank. Maybe a couple of peacocks.

I still have a little bit to figure it out.

So I’ve changed my 310 freshwater to saltwater. I slowly added water from my established 180 reef tank to the 310 around 90 gallons of established water. I added about 220 gallons of fresh saltwater and ran for two weeks. I added about 100 pounds of rock from my already established reef tank and it’s been about three weeks now. I have not noticed and spikes and have not ran any lighting. I’m debating on when to do 100% switch and put everything over from my 180 gallon. Any thoughts?
