Did some tank maintenance today and discovered a lot of rust on my 3152 magnet. Never had an issue with any of my poeerhead magnets. Do you do replacements?

This is a much older magnet holder, we have not used this style in about 6 years, the warranty has passed. However, I don't believe there is anything wrong with this magnet. This magnet used ferrite magnets which are inert ceramic, the main draw back was the crevices attracted iron particles which then rusted on the magnet, I believe that is what is going on. It is most likely that if you just clean the magnet and remove the iron particles with a mild acid and brush it will not recur. GFO is a common source of this since it is just pelletized rust, but their are numerous sources in a typical home for iron particles. If you wanted to replace it, 3152.512 is the current equivalent part, but I see no reason to do so.
