Can’t connect to my tank through the FluvalSmart app. I deleted the app like it says to and I still can’t even find it. The green light is on on the cord and still can’t find it. Any ideas, I also have fish and certain inverts are they good without lighting?

Usually updating the app works and double checking if there’s something wrong with your Bluetooth connection?

I just had this problem with my new Kessils a couple days ago. Make sure that the WIFI on your phone is connected to your home router.

Nag still not showing up, I think I’m taking it to my lfs soon. Will my inverts be fine without light for a while?

Try this... unplug the router for 30 seconds. Unplug the lights for 30 seconds.. Power off your phone for 30 seconds.. This allows everything to reboot. Then try again.

If that doesn't help then it is possible you have a bad unit.

In answer to your specific question, everything should be fine without lights for a couple days.

Yeah man I think I’m just gonna take it back or something. I’ve unplugged my tank and restarted my phone like 3 times. And I restarted my router. Still didn’t work.

Hello new member here.
I have the FluvalSmart app and am having issues with a connection that has worked fine for a few years now.
It works fine on my Iphone, but not with my Android tablet. It started when we went to regular time. Still working but one hour off. The tablet did not change to regular time so I manually set the time. Still was one hour off the next morning.
It is then I went into pro settings to manually change the times. Not sure what I did but the tablet will no longer work with the light.
I have:
Unistalled and reinstalled the software. Fresh download.
I have turned off Bluetooth on both phone and tablet. (concern for possible conflict)
I have reset the tablet to factory settings.
I have checked and my software version is good on tablet and software. Bluetooth as well.
I have contacted Fluval with no return call as promised.
I have emailed them to without any response.
I have done so many things I am not even sure about all of them.

Since it works with my phone it has to be a tablet issue. Galaxy Note 8.0. The tablet finds the fixture but when I select it I get " Fluval has stopped working" with an option to report to Google play Store. Or cancel. Google can't help here!
Anyone have an idea? And what would wifi have to do with Bluetooth as mentioned above?
I am connected to wifi on both devices. Phone and tablet. I have not considered wifi at all as I'm connected on everything in the house.
Thanks John

Note: The phone screen is way to small for programming. I even need a stylus for the tablet before anyone asks why I am not just using the phone.

Thanks. I gave up and put a 24 hour timer on it. I will try Fluval after the holidays and see if they can help.
Isn't this the "lighting" forum? Thats why I posted it here.
