Anybody out there got a good timing schedule for the biocube 32 gallon led? I'm struggling with it and there are a lot of differing opinions. I'm just starting and won't start the lights til after the cycle and I get some living things inside but would love any suggestions. Thank you

This was posted on a question I had on Facebook hope it helps I'm going to start bumping mine up to match this one

I like this schedule. I have been experimenting w/ different schedules on my 16 gallon BioCube.

Bump with question..

How come my blue moon lights dont go fullly on at where i schedualed them at... i schedual them at 11:55 to 22:30 but they arent turning on till like 19:45 and ramping up till 22 30 and off...

Anyone happen to use moon lights on this tank all night? My son is use to our old Oceanic. He is asking if it can be done. Bear in mind he's 10...

Ahogue21's post just a few comments up is what I'm using and it has worked great.
i have softies, SPS, LPS, and some zoas and as long as they are placed in the right height area they are flourishing.
for some reason my LPS are growing like crazy in comparison to the others.
The only thing I tweeked was what time of day to set up the different modes so as to match up with the actual sun.

I do not run them through the night, because from what I've read that may interfere with natural sleep patterns of your livestock.
That being said, I am by no means a pro at this yet.

Nice, I’m gonna get mine closer to what he has also then, just gonna cut back on length of time for the whites /program 1 a bit

I have the model of cube that does not have a timers only switches. Is there a power supply you guys recommend? I would love it if I had one that could control amping up and down.

I have a planted 36 biocube with cichlids. I’m using a schedule like above but my plants are getting algae. What am I doing wrong??

This is what I am using on my Jbj Nano cube 28 LED. Should I make any changes? I am now 6 weeks from tank start with algae in the tank so added inverts. I am getting some Red slime so I am not sure if I should temporarily reduce the lights or just treat the slime. Should I reduce the Red and increase the Blue for the ramp up/ramp down time-frames?

21:00 - 2,8,1
22:00 - 0,0,1
23:00 - 0,0,0

The concept with this lighting was to try to extend the lighting time to view the tank by using incremental sunrise/sunset time-frames and then have the primary lighting for coral during the 10:30 - 18:00 time-frames. I would love to hear if someone has any suggestions for improvements/changes to the schedule to improve the light for corals for when I get them.

Thanks,
Mike

I was having some issues with algae and did some research so I cut out the red light and increased the blue.
