Canon t4i and I just got the tri-pod and remote yesterday for my bday. I also have the macro 100mm 2.8 but tryining to learn the basics first.

It is natures ocean black sand which is a black with multi color rocks including specs of white. Mixed with Hawaii Pure Black to darken it up.

Hey there! have followed your build thread, and am impressed with what you've accomplished, including your frag tank. Very nice! I am currently in the middle of a 330g build, sps dominant, and am interested in using black sand. LFS is highly in favor of Reeflakes. Have you had any problems with your sand as far as SPS goes? Where did you find the Hawaii pure black sand that you mixed with the Natures Ocean black?
