320 Gallon SPS Build

It drains to the storm sewer. Regarding the leds, they look good and the price seems to be inline. I would just question the coverage on larger tanks as they are long and skinny.

Awesome tank. I enjoyed this thread. Just a couple of questions.

First, you are draining your used water into your sump? Do you have a lawn? Is this killing your yard at the sump discharge?

Second, you seem very knowledgable on LEDs. What do you think of Build My LED Custom LED Lights for DIY Horticulture Aquarium Hobby Lighting?

New light layout: 320 Gallon 8ft tank

I am getting 600 par at the sandbed with everything turned up to 100%

All I can say is freaking sweet system...

Do you run your lights at Both channels at 100% all the time? I just got 3 D120s w/full spectrum and I'm trying to figure out how to get the colors and growth you're getting.
I have a 232 gallon system with 125 & 90 plumbed together with the sump. I run BioPellets and also have a 5 gallon bucket of Chaeto.
I'm running Maxspect Razors on the SPS dominant 125 with Blues at 100% and the whites peak at only 50% then everything ramps down. The D120s on the 90 are at 50%B and only 25%W since mostly LPS.
Run Kalk through my ATO. and Dose CA/Alk/Mg as needed. Had a CA Rx but ran out of CO2 and had hard time keeping the pH constant (May try again soon).

Ca= 470 ppm
Alk = 200 ppm
Mg - 1420 ppm
Salinity = 1.026
Temp = 80F
PO4 = 0.1
NO3 = 0.0

Thanks

Thanks! Everything sounds great. I took my BPs offline and do think my corals are much happier but noticed the corals dont grow as fast but the color is much better. I keep my blues at 100% an white/multi color at about 20% and this seems to keep the corals happy and looks great and reminds me of my ATI T5 combo I use to run. For your LPS tank maybe bump up the blue and down the white. My LPS literally squeeze under a rock to get away from the white LED. When I minimize the whites they come out which tells me it is too intense for them.
