I feed oysterfeast about every 3 days 4tsp and leave the tank in feed mode for 30min. The colors are a combination of good water quality, stable water parameters, very high flow and bright lights. The MH only have been up for a couple days and my red planet is starting to develop its green. I expect a lot of cool things with the combo of LED and MH.

Absolutley AMAZING tank! Have you thought about some fans in the canopy to keep the fixtures cooler and hopefully water temps down? How are you dealing with humidity in the room?

First off amazing tank! I was excited to see someone going with all leds on such a deep tank and then sad to see that you had to go back to some mh. I will be interested to see how much this changes your power bill? doesn't look like you are too worried with an increase with the money you have dumped into this system but still a question. Also, Man look at that hollywood stunner in the back right corner that thing is the size of your head or bigger! How are the corals around it fairing out with the long tentacles this species is known for?

I thank you are right. I have never seen colors like I am getting under these halides, I am interested to see what it looks like in a few months. How is your tank coming along are you doing a build thread on here. Look forward.

Thanks 2nd to your amazing tank. Actually your tank and the frags I got from you are one of the main reasons I started to evaluate halides. The colors are sick.
