do you guys think a protein skimmer is a good idea for 32g biocube or could i get away without using one its been tough setting it up in the champers in the back and its alittle loud

All I can say is I have a 32 AIO cube tank and in the first chamber I have an aqua max 1.5 which is pulling out some nasty skimmate. I have been told with a protein skimmer I my be able to go a little longer on water changes. Some also feel that a protein skimmer on a tank that size may strip all the nutrients out and depending on your coral that could be good and bad. I’m happy with mine though. Then again I am always looking to add something new to my tank.

This is what I was working with actually fit perfect. Not sure how yours is set up. I think my tank is an older JBJ.

I'm running a tunze 9001 in the back chamber of my 32g biocube. I forgot what piece it was but I cut something out of the back chamber and the tunze and my media basket fit flush in the middle compartment
