Hey everyone! I am pretty new to the whole idea of a build thread, but I hope that through regular updates and feedback you will all be able to enjoy the construction of this system and help me to create an awesome tank. I will say now though that I am a student so spare time and money are rare, and this building process may end up taking a while. If there is anything that you guys would like to see or if any of you have comments/advice please do not hesitate to share! I have only been in the hobby for a few months and my first tank (the 10g nano in the picture) has been one big cluster of mistakes. With this new tank I am going to try and be a lot more patient with the aim of doing everything correctly the first time, though I know that nothing is perfect.

Ideally now that I have the tank I would like to begin working on the next logical component of the system, but right now I am not sure exactly what that will be. I plan on adding a 20g high DIY sump/refugium (another first for me) but I am thinking that before I can do any of this, I need to begin construction on a stand for the tank. I will then probably start working on finding a way to drill the tank and add an overflow, plumbing setup, and then once I have all of the hardware assembled I think that I should be able to start picking up equipment as needed. Does this sound like a good course of action or does anyone have any advice on how I should proceed? Thanks! :)

If I turn my head I can just make out all the cool stuff in the pictures (lol), looks like you have a great start, keep the pictures coming.

Seems like you also have a few tanks already in the back ground... very nice!

welcome to the forum and looks like you have a great start. I like your established setup you have in the picture!
