You mentioned a while back that you're using 4xActinic 460nm Blues, 1xActinic Purple and 1x White.

Do you run all at the same time from am to pm? Or do you stagger them? Can I have full details of how long each is run?

And lastly, do you dose any supplements? Many thanks in advance for the answers.

Two of the blue actinics come on at 10 am and the other four at 11. The four turn back off at 8 pm and the two blues turn off at 9 pm.

I only dose the Kent Reef Fusion A-B with a Bubble Magus doser 35 ml of each.

I still have the same tank (all the same equipment etc), but it was only restarted about 8-9 months ago. Have mostly small SPS frags in the tank. Mostly they are brown and pale sort of looking.

The colours I got previously, I havent been able to replicate yet. I kinda feel upset looking back at that thread. The colours were excellent and growth was just taking off. Then AEFW's and Dinos hit me. I restarted the tank and put the SPS into a QT tank. But the QT tank was an old VAT, maybe had some chemical in it and I lost all the SPS within hours. I was then unwell etc etc...so basically since the past couple of years I've had real bad luck with Reefkeeping.

I am now trying to cover all bases and trying to work out why my corals wont colour up nicely. NO3 below 0.2ppm, PO4 at 0.03ppm, all other parameters rock stable due to automation. Other than feeding, everything about the tank is automated. So I cant understand why colours arent as well as I had before.

Maybe you've mentioned it here already, but what salt are you using currently? If you've used more than one brand, please let me know. Thanks. :angel:

Hey the salt I use is Instant Ocean I get my water from my LFS and that is what they use. Just read through your thread need an update post up some pics you will be glad you did later when you have it figured out!

Nice additions . I would be kinda bummed too . Now is a good time to get frags shipped as the weather is perfect in most places .
Do u keep a spread sheet of your collection ? I would love to see it one day . Keep up the good work . If I'm ever back in NC again ..I'd love to chat with ya..

I have this acro crab in my blue carduus it is always on the backside during the day and can't see him. Last night when the lights were out he was busy as a cat covering poop

all over the place workin! I was able to get some cool flash pics of him!
