Had a great order from aqua sd so will be adding pics and updating prices. Made some mods to the return plumbing. My return pump was more than enough for my system, thus having to throttle it back to almost half way.
I wanted more flow coming from the dump into the sump. I was only running one return to placed a order
with BRS to get more loc-line and a Y. Had a adjustable height 3/4 sleeve so I could play around with the
height sense it is such a tight fit in the over flow section. Plenty of flow now, and as a added bonus I removed
the powerheads to keep the nice rimless look.

I'm thinking about the same tank but the two to three inches of lost water height kinda bums me out.. How high is the bottom of the tank to the water line. Nine "?

About 9-10, next tank will be a 80 dbp rimless gives a extra 4 inches of height I believe

Congrats! I have the exact same tank that I'm setting up. I have some questions for you if you don't mind. First did your tank come with a plumbing kit? Mine didn't but I talked to the deep blue guys at MACNA and they sent me one. I'm not overly excited about it because its so bulky. What do you think of yours? What size pump are you running? I don't know about your tank but my overflow has a "water gate" which supposedly allowed me to adjust the water level in tank (don't know how well it works because I haven't filled the tank yet).
