Hello, this thread is for my Solana 34g. I purchased it when the Solana tanks first came out and then it wound up sitting in basement a few years before I could get zoning approval from the little lady, then it was finally setup on Aug-26-12. Started with BRS Dry rock and a bottle of bacteria. Cycled Fishless for a few months, before finally adding fish and some coral in feb of 2013. I haven't run a skimmer or did any dosing until about a year ago when I added the Tunze 9004 and the GHL Doser2. Currently its just completely becoming overrun with frogspawn.

1st chamber - Heater - Tunze 9004 Skimmer
2nd chamber - Top- Filter Pad only after a water clean when I clean glass and blowing off rock
3rd chamber - Sicce 1.5

Flow - Tunze 6040

Controller 2/16 - GHL Profilux 3.1 Ex - 4 probes

Doser - GHL Doser 2 and Slave

Light - Kessil LED a350w - GHL Interface EVG-AP-2F-HIC

ATO - Optical Sensor, Snail Top Off, 5 Gallon water tank in cabinet

Rock - Bulk Reef Supply Dry Rock, glued together with 2 part reef epoxy.

Fish - GSM Maroon

Coral - Frogspawn and more recently added some Acans.

Update:
I've been slowly tweaking the doser over the last 3-4 months. I upgraded from the ghl 2 to 2.1, for no real reason. I only use 3 of the heads for alk, calc and mag, so I plan on using the 4th head for ato. I just wish the ghl level sensors didn't cost so much.

My alk is now consistently over 7 now, actually mid 8's. I've struggled for the longest time with low alk, I just wasn't dosing enough, I'm about 30ml/day of alk. Calc is only 8ml/day and mag 3/day.

The growth from the Frogspawn is great. What's interesting is the varying par it's getting, because the Frogspawn is occupying most of the tank and runs right up to the water line. Measuring the par it's 280 at top and 100 for spawn on the sand bed. It all looks good and happy. I've been fragging it like crazy and you can't even tell.

My gsm clown really never had much interest in the Frogspawn, but recently I've seen her all up in it like it's an anemone. I'm not sure this is good for the spawn. I'll post some videos it's really cool to watch her host it.
