35 Gallon Challenge- Mitch's Tank!

Welcome to the 35 Gallon Challenge build thread!
lets start out with a brief over view of the challenge.
We have 4 x 35 gallon Aquariums with drastically different filtration, small budget for Equipment may the best reefer win!
(I will have a link to all the builds in time)

The Spec sheet! ( ill get Exacts later)

-35 Gallon glass Aquarium ( Petco Special)
- Led
-Hang on back overflow ( Rated for 50 Gallons)
- Hard Plumbed to a Sump with a filter sock for my filtration
- wave maker
- DC Return Pump.
- Build the stand myself custom to the dimension of the sump I found.

I'm sure your wondering what make this a challenge i will be building another thread at some point to lay all that out.

yeah that became a pet coral lol we nursed it back to health from a local client and we haven't wanted to sell it since.

Yeah I figured this would happen. I’ll gonna talk with some people on how to do it best. I’m thinking another thread that goes deep into the challenge where we post up all the updates monthly. It’s a work in progress but stick around it’s gonna get interesting!

They had the challenge last year that was between WWC and EShopps.

They made it a little giveaway and got Reef2Reef to sponsor it. You guys could all start individual build threads and do before/starting pictures, 1 week, 2 week, 30 day, 90 day updates and then final pictures and then compile them all on one thread with a poll asking Reef2Reef members to vote?

Sounds pretty fun. I think we would want somthing more long term. It’s a great starting point!

we do have some Zoanthids popping off behind! its in its early stages so I'm taking it slow with the blastos .
although I do think I might new to add some more soon!
