Thanks, I’m happy with it too, I wish my zoas would do better, I’ve ordered in the pump to fix that.

I’m buying some corals (softies) from PDR and can’t wait to get some more leathers in here.

I dose vitamin C once a week for my zoas , not had any melt away since I started ..

Do you use a doser or just pour it in?

It’s powder form .. so I take a small beaker of tank water and dissolve 2 grams (I have a 90g tank ) into it, then add that to a high flow area of my tank .!

Dang that does look great, what brand do you use?

Thank you !:D .. but I think there’s more too it than just the vitamin C... lights , flow, nutrients, parameters,stability... but zoas love vitamin C , but like I said I’ve not had any melt since I started , that I do put down too vitamin C though!

Well I’ll try that (and better flow out) by the end of the week and we can see the changes

Well the fish store apparently had a problem with the order due to hurricane Florence (I'm in SC, I honestly wasn't effected at all). My sailfin won't be in until next week. Can't wait to get some good softies in this tank, I'm ashamed my best softy is a giant greenish brown cabbage coral.

Just gave them a big meal of reef roids, zoo plankton, and phytoplankton. Even the fish love it.

Note: since removing hermits zoas have been looking much better, I’m happy I did it. I found that there is one red leg left crawling about. However, and this may be unrelated, I found a large clump of bubble algae I took out.

Something keeps knocking over my zoa frag in the sump, not sure what, maybe a hermit is moving from the chamber

Do you have an emerald in there? I haven't had my zoas for long but the palys I've had for a while and I know his favorite hiding place is underneath the palys so they change positions every now and then from him lifting it up

I do, but he is in the refugium chamber in the chaeto. No one is ever in the frag chamber when I look in there

Ah then it could be a hermit, I haven't had any experience with hermits knocking over corals but when I was first starting out I read a lot about how some hermits are fond of knocking them over. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
