Hello I am looking for some feed back as to what lights would be best to light a 36" deep mix reef? I currently have 1 hydra 32, a black box and a 4' T5 setup under a canopy. I am certainly on a budget and had planned to get 4 hydra 32's over time but I wanted to get some feed back here as I don'the think I am a fan of the AI lights. The lights have been buggy and I don'the like that i can not control them with out my phone.

Have you looked at the Reef Breeders Photon V2+?

With half the leds being 5 watt Cree leds, it has good power. It has 6 channels of color control and it comes with it's own remote. I consider it the best value by far in the high end led fixture range.

What are the other dimensions? If you have to spread and punch deep, then you might need two rows of LEDs or some high powered MH. This is not an easy problem to solve.

The tank dimensions are 72" long x 24" wide x 36" high

Orphek Atlantik V4 have different lens options for deeper tanks.
