My friends tank cracked and he gave it too me, I don't know any of my levels, my salinity is 1.024

Looks like it was in just in "okay" shape before you received it.

Should know your Cal, Alk and Mag levels if you are going to start keeping corals.

If you only have it because of the tank crack, that is a bit different (( meaning understandable that you don't have those test kits yet, but something you should pick up )), but make sure you keep up with your water changes.

Yes I had no plans it was just kind of take this or it will die. So I'm trying my best haha. So just water changes and it should be okay?

Test kits would be very helpful, so you know if your levels are low/high, but in the meantime the water changes will help.

BTW, what lights do you have, and what lights was it under?

If you can't get test kits right away most LFS will test water for free.
A short time after the lights go out have a look to see if it's feeder tentacles are out. If they are, gently drop a single mysis shrimp into them. If it eats it, it's a very good sign :) Even though they are photosynthetic, they still benefit from eating meaty foods every so often.
Being 2 days old he may just be stressed still. Especially after the previous tank crashed.
