Was it drilled low enough for a inky box?

Yes and yes. I had a inky box to put on there put sold the box already. I lined it up to make sure though.

Is it good enough for a display tank?

No scratches that I've seen. I haven't filled it up with anything yet. And if I remember right the tank has a 5 year warranty

I think so. If It doesn't end up selling I have had thoughts of setting it up for another display tank
