I have a 36g reed tank with tons of corals. Atm I have a maroon clown that’s been in tank for months hosting my bubble tip nem and just added a bicolor angel.
Was wondering if adding a school of damsels would be a bad idea want some fish in the tank but idk

Damsel's are mean guys. While they are small the maroon and the bicolor will probably pick on them until the damsels grow a bit. First tank i had i didnt didnt know any better and i had damsels in a 75 with a tang and a day later the tang was missing its fins

From my experiences with drawf angels, your tank is too small for the Bi-colored Angel that you just added. Couple that with damsel aggression and you will not have a fish friendly tank.
If it's just the bicolor and the clown I think they should be fine. The clown has somewhere to retreat to. Bicolors imo aren't as aggressive as some people say but they do still chase other fish for sure, and the fact its one of only two fish in the tank he's already well established and probably won't take kindly to other fish being introduced into his territory
