37 gal stocking ideas...

Hi everyone. I currently have a 37 gal red sea 130d they houses my cuc, cleaner shrimp, 1 urchin, 2 clowns, 1 anenome, and 1 starry blenny. I have been looking into more stock as I would love more movement in the tank.
Recently, I got a diamond watchman goby that I was so excited for but my starry blenny bullied him into nonexistence within a few hours >
I'm thinking of removing him and replacing him with a pearly jawfish or another diamond goby...
Also, I recently saw that Mynanoreef on YouTube/Instagram has a green serpent star with two clownfish in her anenome tank and I was thinking of adding a star down the road... but the problem here is I don't want my clownfish to be eaten!

Thoughts? Suggestions? What can I add if I keep the starry blenny? I really like gobies but now I'm afraid that he will kill them all...

Maybe a dwarf flame angel. It might be a bit risky, but the size shouldn’t be a problem, would add some movement, shouldn’t get bullied, and the color is amazing! I’m new myself, so take this with a grain of salt, but I have a similar setup and was considering this addition myself. So thought I’d share. All the best!

Not going to get a lot more movement with a watchman goby or jawfish. Maybe a royal gramma, chalk basslet, firefish? I think there are some wrasses thatd work too.

I guess I was going for more personality here.... I like the idea of firefish but I just had a sandsifter jump because of my blenny- do you think a sandsifter would work well with firefish or jawfish?

What do you guys think about this stock list? Again this is a 34 gal tank (I think I said 37 before... it's a 130L)

I would skip the jawfish. They need a deeper sandbed and can be a little hard to keep, especially since your blenny is a bit of a bully. I agree that a dwarf angel and/or royal gramma would add movement. I also like gobies but bullish starry blennies can be difficult with smaller shy fish. You could try putting the starry in an acclimating box for a 2 week time out while new fish are acclimating but there are no guarantees when it is released that it won't go back to its bullish ways.

Yes, I think 2-3 bangaii cardinals would be an excellent choice. They are predominantly a nocturnal fish that prefer the top third of the open water of the tank, so would not be competing for that with your other fish. During the day they are relatively seditary and so would do fine in a tank your size. I kept bangaiis in a 36 gallon and they seemed happy and they also seem to like being in a group of their own kind.

Another fun fish is a file fish. Swims all around the tank, not fast, but active, and definitely has a personality.

Thanks for the advice! I'm putting an order into my LFS for a could cardinals. Thoughts ona long nose hawkfish?? I love the look and I heard they only require about a 30 gallon but I'm concerned he may fight with my blenny for rock space?

That one is a 50/50 chance. They might be fine but if your particular Starry is territorial it might not be. Putting the starry in an acclimating box while the hawkfish is adjusting would probably work, (if you can catch the starry). Sometimes even putting the new hawkfish in the acclimating box for 5-7 days could help too, (if you can't catch the blenny). Hawkfish will eat shrimp if you ever want any in the future. That is the only reason that I don't have one because they are cool fish.
