We probably need a little more info. What are the dimensions of your tank and what wattage are your T5's? Without that info, one could guess if you ran one Coral + and one Blue + T5 you could keep SPS directly under them, especially in the top half of the water column. Then place your soft corals that are less light demanding on the bottom and edges.

You will be limited and still not able to grow most of the SPS corals...look into a LED system. much cheaper in the long run. Can get one from Reefradiance.com for 130ish and they last for years!

2 bulbs should be fine for soft corals, zoanthids, and low light LPS. SPS most likely will be fine at the very top. If not, 3-4 bulbs will work great.

Make sure you are using quality bulbs though. Like ATI or something.

Ok, you're tank is relatively deep. For reference, my 210g is about 29" deep and that's considered a deep tank. I run 3x400w halides, but do this because I wish to grow SPS anywhere in the tank. Your tank is just as deep! What are your T5 bulb watts? If they're 50w a piece, I might suggest you try running 4 of them in a combo like the following from front to back...ATI Blue +, Coral +, Blue +, Blue +. This will allow you to grow SPS in the top 20" or so no problems, and yet not roast your soft corals on the bottom/sand bed.

Whoops, Kole Tang beat me to it. Sounds like we gave you similar info.

Yea, it's just the regular bulbs that came with Aquatic life T-5 30" Maybe I should get another set and connect them together? What do you guys thing? I was thinking of the Kessil 150w LED.

Or look at the OceanRevive Arctic S026 or Arctic T247 (with built-in on/off timer and digital control of the power settings!) no more sloppy dimmer knobs! They have a sponsor forum here at R2R and also OCEANREVIVE LED
