Not sure if you can really tell or not but Im pretty impressed. I never really had much algae growth but there was a little green coloring on the rock in places. Well that green has all been eliminated recently and its just white right now where it was. Purple is covering up nicely all over the place too! I never got all that much for a clean up crew, and I am glad as they would probably starve. The scrubber downstairs is beginning to show some red algae too as it matures.

And of course some more pictures as I enjoy taking loads of them. Good time to sit down and post these from yesterday after a long day of installing a Cat Scan machine.

All I can say is, WOW! This build is awesome! Great job and can't wait to see the progress.

Some images from a different perspective today. Got myself the Avast Marine top-down porthole. Pretty nifty thing for my dslr to go into.

Alost lost this guy from too much light, think I caught it in time as its been over a week since I moved him and still hanging in there and looking better. Was growing so good too. The bottom died off when I first got it but came to a stop.

Wow your tank is really taking off! Coraline everywhere!! What would you attribute the algae not really growing to? Keep up the great work.

It sure is, the few pieces of rock I still had from my previous setup running in a 29 gallon for a few years really seeded it well as they were solid purple. Calcium is hovering around 460 which may be a little on the high side but is working well as you can see. The large algae scrubber + vinegar dosing have been keeping everything under control.

Speaking of that, I just refilled my 5 gallon soda ash (alkalinity) container this morning. It was down to about 1 gallon left. So I got almost 4 months out of it before I even had to touch it lol!

Can see fowleri's fin damage on the back end.

Supposed to be a male but looks pretty much the same as the female lol. The original male jumped to his death and had so much more orange.

Sailfin initially got into it a bit with powder blue but not nearly as bad and was short lived. I will name the powder blue Tang Destroyer.

haha why they call him like that? i love powder blue

Because he wants to attack any new ones going into the tank now. Was going after my purple when I put him in, desjardini, and the Fowleri Tang really bad. And I would rather have the Fowleri then the PB as its not nearly as common.

What kind of camera and lens are you using? Nice setup! And great pics.
