380g mixed reef

Stunning tank!!! well done! Always wanted a big enough tank to keep a Unicorn Tang....I guess I'll be happy with my "Big Blue" Hippo Tang and others :-)

Had any problems with keeping all those tangs? I am a tang lover and would have ever different one in my tank of I could. I only have a 75 and I have an orange shoulder, yellow and a vlamingi but the vlamingi has started chasing my anthias so he is getting swapped for either a purple tank or a hippo. I plan to move to a 240 cube but I wanna make sure I can house a lot of tangs.

Amazing tank! Plz keep the pictures flowing. Do you mind sharing your filtration, dosing, parameters...
HI

I run a very simple sump although a large water volume compared to some I supoose.

Its a 6 x 2 x 2 sump Five chamber
comprising of
Skimmer, reacotrs,/ live rock mushrooms / chateau 4kgs Matrix stones / Live rock cuc / return

I dose Randy's recipe Alk Cal Mag
all hourly over a 24hr period
Alk 315mnls
Cal 295mls
Mag 240mls
adjusted according to weekly tests, but normally fairly stable.
Parameters I keep are

sal 1.026

We have not had too may issues with aggression but we do keep them very well fed and there is plenty of holes and hiding spots.
We did add all at the same time expept the purple and white cheek they were added later.
We know that as they grow things will become difficult and watch for any changing aggression and have a zero aggression policy.
We have just ordered a bigger build to arrive in the next few months so hopefully wont have to move any of these guys on as they really have become part of the family.

Sorry for the dumb question, Why do you keep mushrooms in the fudge?
Believe they are great nutrient eaters consuming lots if nitrates & phosphates.
And
Our stand is open so we try to keep it interesting for visitors.
Lots of cuc. Lobster. Shrimps. Other corals.

We seriously need more photos on a constant basis. :)

Black tape around existing tank is new build :)

Mind if I ask, who built your tank? Did you build it? (It's fantastic, and about exactly what we're looking for, here)

We may even build our own.
