3D printed in florescent

Problem with glow in the dark colors, is the risk of chemical leach into a tank. Don't think people really trust them much in their tanks, where as PETG solid colors have proven themselves. My 2 cents anyways.

I’m not talking glow in the dark. I’m talking florescent PETG filament. The stuff that glows in the tank.

we use the UV reactive filament we stock orange, green and yellow. We can print you the urchin hats just need an estimate on the size you need. Usually a little smaller than the urchin.

The feed door i'd have to design, I'm assuming you want one that fits onto a mesh screen top?

@Reefnoobz90 I remember that one, looking good

The urchins are only like 1.5” wide and yes it would be on a mesh top.

First run, not a huge fan of the thickness of the lid so I'm going to thicken it and have it sit on the bottom frame. I'll have pricing available with more pictures tomorrow. Honeycomb or standard mesh option for the lid.

Honeycomb. Can you do the hats too
Definitely, I didn't design those so I'm just going to charge filament cost plus electric to run a printer. If you decided to get the feeding hatch as well the difference is shipping will be cents. Which did you want?

As far as I can tell there are:

  • a top hat
  • a cap
  • a French cap
  • a crown
  • a fairy / magician hat
  • a viking hat
If you have a different thingiverse link with others let me know.

Actually this is the same as the six pack I was looking at.

Final design, I thickened everything up while keeping weight to 1.5oz so there's no sagging. The nylon nuts are press fit into the base and once in do not come out so there's no chance of losing them in the tank should you decide to install over the tank .

I pm'ed you pricing
