3D printed Radion XR30 bracket for max Nano

This whole hobby is a rip-off brother! Lol

everything and I mean everything is price gouged. Problem is, once I experienced a thriving Sps tank, I can’t give this hobby up.

Do this at your own risk, but I’m sure if you use the newer style radion bracket, you might be able to screw into it using your stock AI bracket. Just make sure you use lock nuts on the other side of the bracket.

The question is, does my arm fit into this hole there? If you know what I mean.. But I guess it should as it is an AI Prime too, right?

Not sure I understand your question. The 3D Radion bracket you are showing me only works with a flex mount, it doesn’t look like it will work with your stock bracket.

Well, I purchased a Ender 3 Pro and printed the part with PETG and it came out beautifully. Now I can attach a full XR30 G5 to my Red Sea Max Nano using the Ecotech RMS bracket securely. Thanks to Robin Malpas (maas101 on thingiverse) for creating this. It’s brilliant!

Do you have pictures of your installation of this bracket?

Hey Mt,

I didn’t take a photo of it when it was mounted to the tank. It’s a versatile mount though. I mounted a Radion XR30 G4,G5 and recently modified it to fit a Kessil Ap9X. Here is a photo that is not very clear, but the mount lip rests on the tank and the two screws mount it to the tank. Make sure you use ABS or PLA+ for strength if you decide to print it.

Thanks for the reply AZ, I think you are misunderstanding my thread title....I’m not looking to print the whole XR30 bracket. I’m going to use the Ecotech bracket, just printing a adapter that allows the Ecotech bracket to fit the Max Nano tank. It’s already tried and true, just looking for someone who has already done it for advice.

Contact this guy on Etsy, he will custom print for you. Send him the stl file and he will print it for you (at a charge of course).

Use PETG or ABS to print it and ensure that if you get someone to print it for you they use at least 50% infill not the 20% that most will use. The thing you want to be really careful of is the printed bolts which hold the mount to the nano. I redesigned them to accept an M5 steel bolt inside so there is no chance of them snapping, reinforced_screw.stl is the file you want. I suggest that they are printed at 100% infill.

Hello, I can't find one of these for sale anywhere. Would you consider selling me one?
Regards.
