I run at 230/68 on the glass bed for PETG and what @Erica-Renee said about squish is correct.

It also depends on the printer.

You could also try aqua net unscented mega hold. I don't need it anymore since I got my leveling/temps down pat but it works really well while you are learning.

OHH I forget.. i sanded my Glass bed with 120 and i use RAVE Hair spray. never been a Aqua net kinda Chic... Sorry...

Low nozzle temp can cause this as well as to close to bed . Also for petg Depending on printer you need to turn fan off on first few layers then adjust what works best for your printer above that. i run my fan at 50 percent at layer 8 and beyond...

Do some test prints and change one tiny setting at a time and adjust.. what works for my printer might not be the same for yours..

Lowe's is the cheapest for glass. I got mine for my ender 3 for $3.

I don't use glass on the new one. I have it to where it's not taking anything to stick to the stock bed for PLA+ or PETG either one.

ok leveled bed pegt wont stay stuck nozzle temp 220 and bed 60 any ideas

I use amazon basics petg at 240 nozzle and 85 bed. I use glass bed. no issues with print not sticking, either with aqua net or with elmer's paste stick. just a very thin coat of either. make sure the glass is clamped at 4 corners to printer bed. other than replacing the bed cover with glass, everything else is bone stock and no problems whatsoever.

you replace the ender3 pad with glass.

be careful with petg and glass. you need a separation layer or lots of times you'll pull up shards of glass with the print. Ruined a few glass beds with petg

*edit, separation layer being any sort of other adhesive like stick glue or juices

no problem with borosilicate glass.
object (petg, abs, pla) pops right off once bed is cool.
I only use a very thin coat of aqua net or paste stick. sometimes I even forget to apply and it prints fine.

That's what I'm trying to say, use a thin layer of separation from the glass and you'll be fine. I've forgotten and paid the price

I like your line of thought.

Honestly though, I've printed a bunch of stuff for plug makers. They make a silicone or sand mold and just pour emarco in.

My thought was you could make a very light structure that's 50% air / 50% ceramic that gives you tons of surface area. Better than any current fake "live" rock.

Good idea for rock.

I talked to a couple people about this today. The biggest hurdle is air pockets in the print causing it to explode in the kiln.
