I have had this 3g mummy eye for 5 years+ never an issue. In fact it has lived through most of the trauma my tank has gone through, almost any kind of problem my tank struggles with this chalice lived and thrived.

Now it has black spots that appeared almost over night! What can I do to save this it’s one of my favorite pieces?

Any lighting or parameter changes?

The dark spots are not good typically. Not sure what causes it though. From what I've seen on a chalice colony we had, the spots turned into recession and ultimately the chalice started dying. Ended up fragging good parts of the chalice to save it. Still never figured out the cause.

Figured it out....

Caught my bicolor blenny nipping at it constantly....

The good news is the places he nips heal
Quickly but I don’t want him eating it.

He’s not eating mysis or pellets just the chalice and I have no easy way to get him out of my tank....

Any suggestions?
