3k Gyre Icecap

So, I have had the Gyre for about a month now, and it works great, however I feel like it is a big too powerful for my Reefer 250?

I had to turn it to 10% and pulse every 10 seconds or so because it was blowing everything everwhere. The sand and the fish. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice on the settings for it? I have some smaller fish and hate to see em get pushed around.

I have a 1k on my 40g and I had to turn it down because it was so powerful. Do you have it on the side of the tank?

Yes. Only one. On lowest setting possible. I have it pulse at 10% for a few seconds and repeat after 10. Haga

I had it on my 56g (30" wide) and 10% still ruined the sand lol. It's on my 75 now and anything 30% sends sand everywhere. Pointed from 1 end to the other

Good to know I'm not the only one haha. I had to play with the settings for days just to get it to not destroy my aqua-scape. My little clown fish would swim into the jet stream and fly away. lol

I have the 3k on my 75 gallon and when I plugged the power cable in, it was set to 50%! Everything in my tank was not happy, sand storm like no other. I have it on the side of my tank, set to pulse from 10 to 30%, seems to work just fine.

It works great, I just didn't realize how well lol.
