Should be getting the rock(s), and a tiny bit of sand today. Hopefully I will have this thing ready to go by tonight, then it will be on cruise control until we start. That should give it plenty of time to settle in .

Glad to have you in the contest and looking forward to following your progress!

Cool looking forward!

thanks guys, this little guy is turning out to be a challenge already. Real estate is very limited so even a small piece of rock looks like a mountain. Lol

I have a backup plan though, Hopefully that will open up a little space.

so I didn't like giving up the real estate for the AIO section, so I pulled that out and drilled the tank. Some of the equipment has changed as well.
Flow : quiet one 1200 (dialed back) feeding a SCWD , that provides flow from each side of the tank.

I made a filtration section that will be hidden behind the tank along with the pump and SCWD. I hope to have pics and video up once the test runs are over.

drilling the tank today. I have decided to run an external pump with the returns coming from each end of the tank. this will allow me to use the entire footprint of what is already a cramped space. the returns will be fed through a SCWD to create alternating currents, this seemed to be the best option for keeping most of the equipment out of the display. the SCWD, and pump will both be hidden behind the tank for a clean look.

hopefully I don't break the tank.

2 down , 1 to go .

:)

Oh I'm not giving up that easy.

I was connecting the plumbing and it seems that I put too much stress on the bulkhead and the back glass popped.

Will pick up another tank this week .
